"Kenyataan hari ini adalah
mimpi hari kelmarin.Mimpi hari ini adalah kenyataan esok hari' -ISHAB
without realizing it has been
almost 3 years i spent my life in Turkey. seriously seems time is flowing so
fast n made me questioned myself wht i've done within this 2 n half years :( hows
my daily ibadah, hows my relationship with Allah, His creations esp my
parents, siblings, friends n all people around me. how much knowledge ive gained.
my eagerness in seeking knowldge how. my understanding in Islam etc.
the best dua 'O Allah
dont let me be under my control even in a blink of an eye'
actually now i feel
'consciousness' of benefits living in this jemaat house. i did but as a human i
keep forgetting n didnt grab much benefits from it, that what i noticed the
weakness of myself. here in jemaat house every morning n evening we do read
tesbihat. its like mathurat but compilation of dua n zhikr by Risalah annur
students. i started to learn more about risalah annur once i came here. i heard
about it and even attended some risalah annur courses when back in
malaysia. im so lucky to live in a residential area where risalah annur lessons
being conducted by one of the turkish jemaah ,Hayrat Vakfi. almost every
weekend the turkish n malay ablalar(sisters) gathered in that madrasah,a rented
house in B.b.Bangi which just located 3 min from by house by walking. but since
i was in boarding school for 2 years i didnt get much opportunity to join them
,i just had chances to join twice during school break. so in that
madrasah i got to know with some Turk sisters from Hayrat n met Arwah Ahmad
Ammar's mom ,makcik ina there. here in turkey im not staying with Hayrat since
there is no nearest Hayrat home for girls around my area. im staying here with
another jemaat which based on Risalah annur also,Hizmet. yeah after some
political issues happened some people against ths jemaat n even the students
who are living in their house splashed with all those sarcastic stuffs but
since im here just for seeking knowledge i guess i shouldnt involve in their
political thinking besides just grab the positive side from
them.this jemaat by Fethullah Gulen has opening Turkish schools around the
world even in Malaysia they hve TIME international school and i really
appreciate their efforts in managing schools esp in African
countries,Afghanistan etc. so here im staying with 5 turkish girls whom are
also from the same faculty,so its easier n benefits me much for my studies
since i really need supports from surrounding people to push me into my
medical study in turkish language.

before i fly to Turkey ,my dad
reminded me if possible never stay in a house with other Malay students
otherwise my Turkish skills wont be improved due to speaking Malay most
of the time. alhamdulillah once i arrived Ankara there was no other Malay
students ,just a malay boy. However im so grateful there are some malay friends
in nearby cities,in Kirikkale i hve a Malay senior, kak suhana which was in 2nd
year of medicine when i came.i hve batchmate n besty Farah in Konya which
located 2 hours by train from Ankara. n Kak zinnirah far in Balikesir who came
Ankara in my first week here .so relationship with Malaysians keep going
alhamdulillah n until now unbelieveable there are 10 malay students in Ankara
including (tht total seems very little + compared to malay students in Egupt
esp + but for me its quite a lot since we were minority)
"WHEN THE VISION IS
CLEAR,THE ACTION BECOME EASIER"
in my area there are about 20
jemaat house for medical girls' students n mostly from the same university. i
love the sisterhood here n feeling lucky to be here alhamdulilah eventhough
sometimes i was rebelling against the rules that being asked to obey.
let me give a bit description
about lifestyle , accomodation etc especially for malaysian students who are
interested to pursue study here in Turkey. for Turkish government scholarship
holders, (YTB) accomodation which is government hostel ,being covered under YTB
scholar. the hostel system here is unlike in Malaysia. for example i was placed
in Mehmet Akif girls' hostel which is just near to my school. but in that
hostel the students are not only from my school,Gazi ,there might be students
of other universities such Ankara Univ, Yildirim beyazit Univ, etc. its
mixed because normally the distance between one univ to another are not
that far. in gov hostel (KYK hostel) the room system is not parallel . for ex
in mehmet akif one room can place 8 girls but in another hostel there might be
4 n even 2 girls in a room. sometimes it depends on our study level either
undergraduate/master or phD students. refrigerator, iron room ,canteen etc are
provided.some hostels has curfew until 11 pm n if u wanna stay outside u need
to take izin/permission from the dorm officer 2 days before as possible. you
can request to change to another KYK hostel if there are problems.but it takes
time! another options of accomodation ,there are also private girls'
dormitary. usually its more comfortable,2 girls in a room but the payment will
make ur mouth shaped O :O some of my Turk friends are in private dormitory, and
as i heard the payment range is between 400-900++ Turkish Lira per month.
beside that,if u wanna stay more comfortable n wanna do anything that u want,u
can make plan with friends to rent ur own house. in Ankara the recommended area
is Kurtulus/Kolej/Dikimevi. as being told the rent is around 400-700 TL.
the house that im staying
known as ogrenci evi/students' house and i got to stay here because knw some
people from the society but as being mentioned there are some rules that must
be obeyed. since its organised by Islamic movement here ,the people
really focus on Islamic spiritual, not to mention academic stuffs. every morning
n evening we read the tesbihat that i mentioned,as protections during our days
.its not something new actually coz in malaysia also we used to mathurat
,almulk esp those who are in boarding school. besides, the rule which i was
rebelling most was the cay saati/tea time at night :p usually during tea time
we have 30 min usrah n 30 min book reading. i was rebelling due to the usrah
conducted in turkish as it was hard for me to understand esp when i was back in
tomer.i felt like kinda being forced :D n at that time reading islamic book in
turkish was thing i hate most coz i didnt feel real understanding in gaining
knowledge. but as time passing by i realized its good for me since by forcing
me reading book ,my turkish n my reading habit improved. sometimes its quite
hard for some students to obey those rules, esp for me since im a med student
thus i hve my own study plan n that tea time which always being conducting
around 9-10pm n sometimes even longer 'took my study time' coz im not
like other girls who can stay up late at night for studying. but actually its
depends . i could request to other housemates n sister who lead the house to
change the tea time right after dinner and after that it goes smoothly. besides
spending just an hour for islamic stuffs we would be able to focus on academic
:)
.but frankly im more interested
on programs being conducted in hayrat house since besides reading book they are
focusing on teaching Quran tajwid,Turkish ottoman writing(osmanlica), risalah
annur written in osmanlica etc there are pros m cons
ottoman turkish
"Wahai Tuhan kami! Tidaklah Engkau
menjadikan benda2 ini dengan sia sia,Maha Suci Engkau, maka peliharalah kami
dari azab neraka"

arwah Ahmad Ammar was also
living in hayrat house when he was a student of Ankara TOMER in Golbasi. he was
one year senior to me ,once he finished TOMER (turkish course). he got admitted
to Marmara Univ in Istanbul n i came Ankara for TOMER n medical studies. may
Allah put mercy upon his soul.He was hitted by a an ambulance in Fatih Istanbul
on 3 November 2013 on his way to usrah with brothers. He was a well-akhlak
,untalkative and i could say 'perfect student' masallah.
Eventhough by the time i reached
Ankara for TOMER n he already started 1st year degree in Istanbul, we met
sometimes in Malaysian programs in Istanbul. since at that Malaysian students
in Turkey was less than 15 (if im not mistaken)we got to knw each other well.
He even came to Ankara with his friends when we had International Student
Gathering by AsmaKopru+YTB n they helped us in managing Malaysian booth as we
were 2 in Ankara. At that time it was Maulud Nabi celebration so Maher Zain n
Mesut Kurtis was invited for Maulud Nabi program in Ulus,Ankara. so we went to
the concert programs with my international team.
during
international student gathering Ankara with arwah - 2013
Indeed im missing every single
moments with great people.
i just had conversatıon wıth my afghan senior yesterday just got to knw she
was in da same class with arwah ammar back in Ankara TOMER golbası /turkish
preparation course .n she said how kind n untalkative arwah was n she was
really sad after got the news about his death .she wish to visit his grave in
İstanbul n read this book once being publish in english
