The Measuring, Selection and Placement Center ( ÖSYM) is the body responsible for organizing the national level university entrance examination Student Selection and Placement System, and several other large scale examinations in Turkey.
In order to register for language exams ( Yökdil, YDS , e-YDS ) , TUS, DUS, STS,ALES etc you need to create an account with ÖSYM
#YDS = Yabancı Dil Sınavı = Foreign Language Exams (English, German,Russian,Arabic,French language)
#YÖKDIL = English exams. There are 2 types
1. Sağlık Bilimler - Health Science
2. Sosyal Bilimler - Social Science
3. Fen Bilimler - Science
#TUS-Turkish Medical Specialization Examination
#DUS - Professional Dental Dentistry Examination
#STS - Medical Equivalent Exams for IMGs
#ALES - Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Exam for Postgraduate program
As i graduated from Faculty of Medicine here in Turkey and going to sit for Turkish Medical Specialization Exams (TUS) , i won't need to sit for STS exams.
For the IMGs who wish to work in Turkey, first you need to get a Turkish Language Diploma C1 Level. I suggest you to apply for Turkish course for 8 months in any TOMER centres (Ankara TÖMER) or Yunus Emre Enstitüsü in your homecountry. Get the offer letter from university TÖMER in order to get your student visa and stay in Turkey to maximize the language. After that you can start preparing for STS exams. Which is clinical exams fully in Turkish language and do unpaid internship for 6 months in order to get the equivalent. The passing markh for STS is 40 but during pandemic it is 35 and 3 months internship period. This process will take around 2 years . And if you want to pursue specialization you can proceed with TUS afterwards.
You can refer to this website for details :

English language exam is required for specialization preference. As i know for TUS and DUS, they only accept Yökdil,YDS, and Tıpdil. IELTS and TOEFL are not accepted.
Registering with ÖSYM
I went to the ÖSYM centre in Ankara to create my account. I don't think it can be done online as they need to take your photograph there in the office. After that they will give you the password for you to access into the system and you can change your password later. You can go to any ÖSYM Centers nearby
